The Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications, acting as an intergovernmental  coordination body in the field of communications and informatisation, is a unique platform for discussing priority issues and practical solutions in the field of ICT, both at the national level and in the international arena, and promotes a coordinated position of the countries of the region in the UN specialised agencies: the International Telecommunication Union and the Universal Postal Union, as well as in other international regional organisations.

The RCC is recognised by the ITU and the UPU as one of the six main international regional organisations.

We're an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation that supports the infrastructure of the Internet through technical coordination in our service region. Our most prominent activity is to act as the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) providing global Internet resources and related services (IPv4, IPv6 and AS Number resources) to members in our service region.

Our membership consists mainly of Internet service providers (ISPs), telecommunication organisations and large corporations located in Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia.

We also provide services for the benefit of the Internet community at large.
