About the event
Dear Ladies & Gentlemen!
ComNews Information Group would like to invite you and your colleagues to the Business Forum “Smart City & Region: Digital Technologies Paving Way to a Smart Country”.
Date and venue: November 28, 2019, hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Novosibirsk (7/1, Kamenskaya Str., Novosibirsk)
In 2019, ComNews Information Group is doing a series of regional events entitled “Smart City & Region: Digital Technologies Paving Way to a Smart Country”.
The events are taking place across the geography of Smart City and Smart Region projects:
Events are designed to enable a dialogue between the federal government and the administration of the national project Digital Economy of the Russian Federation on the one hand, and regional/municipal government on the other, facilitate exchange of best practices and scaling the most successful regional projects in other parts of the country, study best international practices, and identify the needs and challenges of regions and cities for the ICT community. The events will also be focused on seeking new opportunities for public-private partnerships in the best interests of regions and cities (taking into account the recent modifications in the Federal Law 115 on concessionary agreements and Federal Law 224 on public-private partnerships, introduced in June 2018).
The penultimate event of the series will take place in Novosibirsk and will be dedicated to building a digital information infrastructure for Smart City in the Siberia Federal District. The agreement for Siberian cities to be included into the Smart City project was signed in March this year. Its scope includes Krasnoyarsk territory and the city of Krasnoyarsk, Closed Administrative Territorial Unit (CATU) Zheleznogorsk and CATU Zelenogorsk, Kemerovo region and Mezhdurechensk. The project also includes the largest city in Siberia – Novosibirsk. All these regions and cities have already started implementing Smart City projects. Thus, Novosibirsk already counts with a municipal portal “My Novosibirsk”, a unique information system “Ritual”, smart public transport stops, which will be made multi-lingual, and the metro stations are soon to be equipped with state-of-the-art information boards. The road map for Smart City Mezhdurechensk comprises over 60 projects, some of them will be kicked off this year already. In Krasnoyarsk, Japanese company Nikken Sekkei Ltd is developing a new residential neighborhood Krasnoyarsk-City, based on Smart City approach. In Zheleznogorsk and Zelenogorsk Smart City projects will be supervised by Rosatom Group.
