The 15-year experience and profound knowledge of the ICT market allows COMNEWS to conduct the annual large-scale rating and rewarding of the industry leaders.
Since 1999 COMNEWS publishes the “Telecoms & Broadcasting Encyclopedia”, which is well-known among the Russian operators, broadcasters and IT- companies.
In 2012 the “Telecoms & Broadcasting Encyclopedia” is rebranded and will become the center of a special event - COMNEWS AWARDS, the awarding ceremony of the Russian ICT leaders on the basis of independent industrial ratings. During 2011 and 2012 the special rating department of COMNEWS Group of Companies collects and analyzes the objective data and prepares to issue a special edition of “Telecoms & Broadcasting Encyclopedia” containing ratings of operators, broadcasters and IT- companies by subscriber base, coverage area, ARPU, capitalization and cost, as well as leadership ratings in market sectors, such as fixed and mobile telephony, VAS, BBA, satellite communication, pay TV, backbone networks, data centers, etc. The first independent large-scale industry rating is an important project for the whole sector.
Its objective is to demonstrate the role of the local and international ICT companies in the national economy to the wide Russian and global community and to reveal the real industry leaders. The awarding ceremony is called to become a special event uniting the crème of the Russian ICT market and publicly announcing the most innovative and dynamically developing companies.
